About the brand Blue Man
With a wildly impressive heritage, it's no wonder that Blueman has managed to stay on top of the swimwear world for such a long time. Designing for both men and women, Blueman understands what it means to be a trendsetter in the fashion world. This brand isn't interested in imitating other designers; they strike out on their own and create unique looks that inspire the world. Boasting a fresh yet classic take on fashion, Blueman creates the swimwear looks that everyone wants.

Blueman was founded by entrepreneur David Azulay in the 1970s, and he continued to act as CEO of the company until he passed away in 2009. Although David admits that his fashion sense was lacking when the company began, he drew from the knowledge and creativity of his brother Simon Azulay. The two moved to Rio de Janeiro in 1967 from their native Bethlehem. In the early days, David took care of the accounting and paperwork while Simon designed the company\'s first swimsuits. The most popular of his early designs was a denim bikini. Blueman’s styles began to receive international notice because nothing like them was available at the time, and the brothers struggled to keep up with all of the new orders they were receiving. The company began in the Ipanema region of Rio de Janeiro, but with the first taste of success, David expanded its reach into Sao Paulo. How to take care of your beachwear?

While going to the beach you not only use a bikini or a swimsuit but also a dress, skirt, tunic, shorts etc. How to keep them clean and in a good shape?

1. Always shake off the sand. Shake it as much as you can at the beach, you can even vacuum it at home or soak in a basin in warm water so that the fibers get a little loose and the sand goes down the basin.
2. Never leave the beachwear damp and rolled up longer than necessary. Why? It may destroy the colorful prints and patterns.
3. For stains: depending on the origin of the stain use the commonly known methods, but never use aggressive detergents and bleaching products.
4. Follow the washing instruction on the care tag, as depending on the fabrics and dying different pieces may require different temperatures as well as hand/machine wash options.
5. Never dry at the direct sunlight as it may provoke color fading.
6. Check on the care tag the ironing instructions.
