LEHONA PLUS SIZE BEACHWEAR
Created in 1985, Caluer, the company that owns the Lehona brand, is based in Veranópolis in the mountainous region of Rio Grande do Sul, in southern Brazil. The company was initially created from the entrepreneurial idea of the founding couple, who saw the possibility of making products on their own as an opportunity to keep close to the family's three children. Caluer was born from the initials of their names. Lehona emerges in search of quality
Initially, the clothing company dedicated itself to producing lingerie and swimwear in sizes that until then had been considered standard. In the course of this journey, the founders realised their customers' need for larger sizes and, identifying that the market lacked products of the same quality and with the same fashion concept as the so-called standard sizes, they idealised a business opportunity.
So in 2010 Lehona Moda Praia Plus Size was created, always striving for quality through style, prints and essentially Brazilian modelling, fabrics sourced from the best manufacturers in Brazil and manufacturing almost entirely in-house.
In the second generation, now led by their children but with the participation of the founders, Lehona decided to expand into retail via the internet through its own e-commerce and marketplace partnerships. After four years of e-commerce in Brazil, Lehona decided to take a bigger step and look for new markets outside the country.
Lehona's products are designed and made for women who want to enhance their curves and feel safe at the same time. They bring fashion trends in line with the brand's concept and customers' needs. The woman who wears Lehona is an up-to-date woman who invests in durable, functional, well-finished garments and is always looking for a shape that favours her and guarantees her elegance at all times.
