Palmacea is a Colombian brand that was created by a young designer Manuela Botero, who claims that in order to create fashion in Colombia, one needs to have personality. She is full of enthusiasm which is common for the young designers who are talented, strong and motivated enough to be visible on the market and to make a difference in the fashion world. Manuela used to work in Madrid in Spain for a prestigious brand Loewe and when she came back to her country she decided to create together with her associates a new brand – Palmacea. Today Palmacea is a beachwear brand for men and women. She knows that the added value of a brand is what will lead to success among buyers. The brand is original, it is aware of global trends but reinterprets them according to local aspects and according to its identity. She follows three simple rules: • Simplicity is the key to elegance. • If you want to be original, you have to be ready to be copied.
